PB32: Cutting Cable to Save Money ft. Dennis Restauro

On this week’s show, we chat with Dennis Restauro, the man behind GroundedReason.com and the Grounded Reason podcast, about cord-cutting aka cutting cable to save money. We explore cable alternatives along with other internet-related things, including sketchy websites that supposedly offer you “free cable” or access to premium shows. Dennis also drops some internet/cable industry insights and predictions about technological innovations that may change the world.

To close out the show, we chat about a guest Dennis had on his podcast that uses data science to make everyday life decisions. It turned into a pretty funny conversation. Hope you enjoy!

  1. Fantastic interview! Anyone still paying for cable should absolutely listen to this episode.

In regards to the popular question…”Should you pursue your passion or something you’re good at?” – My answer is always both! If you only focus on your passion but no one pays you for it or it doesn’t pay the bills, then it’s called a hobby. Sometimes you have to put in the hard work and do what you’re “good” at, to build up wealth to fund the dreams of what you’re really passionate about.
